wow. seven straight touchdown drives. no fumble, no interceptions, no punts. this game was over at halftime. I enjoyed it greatly... but will I remember next year, next month, next week? perhaps that is the wrong way to think sports: it is the momentary emotional charge that matters, nothing more, and if the Bills do not win the next game does not invalidate this one.
I appreciate books, I read them more than once. Same with films. That is different kind of pleasure, this is of the moment, this is something I can share with most any guy. I like most sports, those independent of narrative like pro wrestling, because, I guess, they make no claims to 'mean' anything, they are purely entertainment. like this football game...
